Chairman of the Election Commission H.E. Mr. Narong Klunwarin
Visits Polling Stations to Observe the Bangkok Elections, Reaffirming the Election Commission's Commitment to Conducting Elections with Integrity and Transparency for the Greatest Benefit of the People.

On 28 June 2026 at 08.00 hours, Mr. Narong Klunwarin, Chairman of the Election Commission, accompanied Dr. Natinun Srilasak, Specialist to the Chairman of the Election Commission; Mr. Shiva Thepcharoen, Specialist to the Chairman of the Election Commission; Pol. Lt. Col. Raphipong Chiraphatthanalak, Contracted Employee to the Chairman of the Election Commission; Mr. Somkiat Khongdee, Secretary to the Chairman of the Election Commission; Mr. Veera Yeprae, Deputy Secretary-General of the Election Commission; Acting Sub Lt. Samphan Saengkhamlerd, Director - General of the Provincial Office of the Election Commission of Bangkok; and the delegation, visited and observed the elections of Members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Council and the Governor of Bangkok at Polling Station No. 12, located at the parking area tent of Crystal Design Center (CDC), Khlong Chan Subdistrict, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok.
On this occasion, the Chairman monitored the performance of Members of the Committee of
a Polling Station, observed the voting process, received reports on operational issues in the area. During the visit, the Chairman also exercised his voting right as an eligible voter.
Later in the afternoon, the Chairman and the delegation visited Polling Stations No. 21–29 at Wat tepnimit, Don Mueang Subdistrict; Polling Stations No. 44–49 at Wat Weru Wanaram School (Secondary Section), Don Mueang Subdistrict; Polling Stations No. 36–38 at Kheha Thung Song Hong Wittaya 2 School (Cafeteria); and Polling Stations No. 42–44 at Kheha Thung Song Hong Wittaya 1 School (Cafeteria), Thung Song Hong Subdistrict, Lak Si District, Bangkok, in order to monitor the conduct of the election and continuously received reports on the performance of Members of the Committee of a Polling Station.
The visit was conducted to monitor the administration of the election and ensure that the election was conducted in accordance with the law, regulations, and prescribed procedures. It also aimed to strengthen public confidence that the election would be conducted with integrity, transparency, impartiality, and fairness, while ensuring that every vote cast by the people would be protected and counted accurately in accordance with the intention of each eligible voter.
The Office of the Election Commission of Thailand hereby invites eligible voters to exercise their right to vote in the elections of Members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Council and the Governor of Bangkok on Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 08.00 to 17.00 hours, at the polling station where their name is registered. Every vote cast by the people is an important force in determining the future of Bangkok and in driving local development that truly responds to the needs of the people.
