Election Commission to Hold Meeting to Consider Cases Concerning the Acquisition of Senators

The Office of the Election Commission of Thailand (OECT) provided an update on the consideration of cases concerning the acquisition of Senators. On 28 August 2026, the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) completed its consideration of the facts presented in the cases. However, as certain facts and pieces of evidence necessary for consideration require additional evidence to be obtained from relevant agencies, the Election Commission has therefore scheduled a meeting to consider and resolve the cases concerning the acquisition of Senators on Monday, 14 September 2026, in order to ensure that the consideration and resolution of the cases are conducted thoroughly and carefully.
