Election Commissioner Mr. Anan Suwannarat Visits Pattaya City
Polling Stations to Observe Voting and Vote Counting

          28 June 2026, 08.00 hours – Mr. Anan Suwannarat, Election Commissioner, accompanied by Mr. Asdsathai Rattanadilok Na Phuket, Advisor to the Election Commissioner, Mr. Numpon Ngurnnumchoke, Specialist to the Election Commissioner, Pol.Maj.Detchapon Korsanan, Executive Director – General of the Institute of Political Party and Election Science, and their delegation, visited Pattaya City School No. 2, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri Province, to observe the opening of polling stations and the voting in the elections of Members of the Pattaya City Council and the Mayor of Pattaya City. The visit was conducted to monitor the performance of the Members of the Polling Station Committee, receive updates on election operations in the area, and closely monitor the exercise of voting rights by eligible voters.

          The observation visit during the opening of the polling stations was conducted to monitor the preparedness of polling station officials and the procedures for opening the polls, in order to ensure that the election was conducted in an orderly manner while upholding the principles of integrity, transparency, impartiality, and fairness.

          On this occasion, the Office of the Election Commission of Thailand, through the Institute of Political Party and Election Science, also organized an election observation activity for participants of “The Political Leader Development Program in a Democratic Regime, Class 2” (PLD 2). The activity provided participants with the opportunity to study the electoral process and gain first-hand experience in observing the conduct of the election.

The Office of the Election Commission of Thailand hereby invites eligible voters to exercise their right to vote in the elections of Members of the Pattaya City Council and the Mayor of Pattaya City on Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 08.00 to 17.00 hours, at the polling station where their name is registered.
