Election Commissioner Mr. Narong Rakroi Visits Bangkok Polling Stations
to Monitor Voting and Vote Counting

        28 June 2026, 08.00 hours – Mr. Narong Rakroi, Election Commissioner, accompanied by Mr. Tana Thammaviharn, Advisor to the Election Commissioner, Pol.Col. Voragorn Thimartariga, Advisor to the Election Commissioner, Mr. Ponwath Pirathichaitanakul, Specialist to the Election Commissioner, and their delegation, visited polling stations for the election of Members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Council and Bangkok Governor at Attamit School, Lat Yao Subdistrict, Chatuchak District, Bangkok. The delegation monitored the performance of the Committee of a Polling Station and received briefings on election operations in the area. During the visit, Mr. Narong also exercised his voting right at Polling Station No. 17 as an eligible voter.

          Later, at 16.30 hours, the delegation visited the polling station located beneath the dome yard of Wat Lat Krabang School, Romklao Soi 27, Lat Krabang Subdistrict, Lat Krabang District, Bangkok, to monitor election operations during the final stage of voting before the close of polls and to receive updates from polling station officials on the conduct of the election.

          At 18.30 hours, the Election Commissioner visited the vote-counting venue at the tent in front of the Government Officials Housing Building, covering Polling Stations No. 31–35 in Lak Si District, Bangkok. The visit focused on monitoring the vote-counting process to ensure that it was conducted in accordance with the law, relevant regulations, and prescribed procedures, with full transparency, verifiability, and an accurate reflection of the will of the electorate.
