Election Commissioner Mr. Narong Rakroi Visits Pattaya City
to Monitor Voting Process and Inspect Election Administration Centre

On 28 June 2026 at 13.30 hours, Mr. Narong Rakroi, Election Commissioner, together with Mr. Tana Thammaviharn, Advisor to the Election Commissioner, Pol.Col. Voragorn Thimartariga, Advisor to the Election Commissioner, Mr. Ponwath Pirathichaitanakul, Expert to the Election Commissioner, and delegation visited and observed the voting process for the election of Members of the Pattaya City Council and Pattaya City Mayor in Pattaya City, Chon Buri Province. During the visit, the delegation inspected election operations at Muang Pattaya 5 School and Pattaya Arunothai School to monitor on the performance of the Committee of the Polling Station (CPS), receive operational reports from local officials, and observe the overall atmosphere of voters exercising their voting rights.

Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to Pattaya City Hall to provide morale encouragement to election officials and inspect the Election Administration Centre and Vote Administration Centre. The delegation also inspected the designated locations for the consolidation of ballot boxes and the storage of ballot papers in order to monitor the readiness of the ballot box collection process, security measures for ballot papers, and post-voting procedures to ensure compliance with the laws, regulations, and procedures prescribed by the Election Commission.

In addition they met with and encouraged election personnel and election supporters to strengthen morale among those performing their duties, who play an important role in facilitating and supporting the election process to proceed in an orderly manner with integrity, transparency, impartiality, and fairness.
