Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) Secretary-General Visits Bangkok Election Sites to Monitor Polling Station Operations and Exercise Voting Rights as an Eligible Voter

On 28 June 2026 at 13.30 hours, Mr. Sawang Boonme, Secretary-General of the Election Commission, conducted an on-site visit to monitor the election of Members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Council and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Governor at a polling station tent located in Ruam Chok Village (Chokchai 4 Soi 54, Soi Yaek 4), Lat Phrao Sub-district, Lat Phrao District, Bangkok. The visit was conducted to monitor on the operations of the Committee of a Polling Station (CPS), receive briefing regarding the implementation of election procedures in the area, and exercise his voting rights at Polling Station No. 56 in his capacity as an eligible voter.

The visit aimed to supervise and monitor election operations in the area to ensure that the election proceeds in an orderly and transparent manner and in accordance with the law. It also aimed to strengthen public confidence that the election is conducted in accordance with the principles of a free, transparent, impartiality, and fair election.

ECT invites eligible voters to exercise their voting rights in the election of Members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Council and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Governor on Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 08.00 to 17.00 hrs. at the polling station where their names are listed. Every vote cast by citizens is important in determining the direction of Bangkok’s development and serves as a significant contribution to democratic governance.
